Dog Walking

There is nothing more generous than offering your beloved dog(s) a daily walk!  A daily break in their routine, a potty-break, a moment of TLC makes their life that much easier. There’s nothing more uncomfortable as to have your dog wait 8 or more hours to eliminate themselves or having human contact. A Bark And A Meow offers all the above with committment, pride and joy.  When you come home, your dog will let you know just how much you thought of him/her by generously giving this service to them.

We offer a variety of schedules to meet your dogs comfort and your budget. The following informaton is what we do within the time frame you choose.

A daily walk, elimination, lots of love (TLC), some playtime, fresh water (if approved) and a treat (if approved)! We guarantee the same walker daily. We leave dog notes behind to let you know what you’re dog had accomplished during their walk and any friends they have met on their short journey.  We make suggestions on how to improve behavior, obedience and any other matter we find important!  We also text our clients on updates, make phone calls with any suggestions or emergencies. It’s also important to us that we hear back from you on our service.  You are just as important and we want to give you the services you are looking for.

The First Step:  Once interested in our services, we will schedule an appointment and come out and meet-and-greet you/family and your pet.  Once the meet-and-greet is completed, the services/rates/schedule will be discussed.  Once you have made the decision to go forward, we then have you fill out our necessary forms such as; a contract (no obligation/no cancellation fee), Veterinarian release form (incase of emergency), a copy of our employment handbook (so you know exactly what we expect from our walkers), and service rate sheet. You will  receive a personal copy of all our forms.  An information sheet will be filled out by the interviewer, taking note to all likes/dislikes of your pet(s), allergies, training, etc. and personal information on the owners (mom’s & dad’s) so that we may contact you personally for any reason.

  • Dog walking: Individual
    15 minutes: $10.00. 2nd dog $4.00, 3rd dog $3.00
    20 minutes: $12.00. 2nd dog $4.00. 3rd dog $3.00
    25 minutes: $13.00. 2nd dog $4.00. 3rd dog $3.00
    30 minutes: $14.00. 2nd dog $4.00. 3rd dog $3.00
  • Group Dog Walking (30 minutes)
    $10.00     per dog. Minimum 3, Maximum 5
  • A Whole Hour of TLC And Fun! Individual or group
    $25.00/individual  $15.00 group (min.3, Max 5)
  • Puppy Package
    $17.00     includes two-15 minute walks and one feeding, fresh water, and cleaning of any accidents. We also offer consultation to help with any training (crate, house-breaking, basic obedience…) at no extra cost to you.
  • Dinner Walks
    From 4-6 p.m., add $3.00 to regular dog walking prices.
    From 6-8 p.m., add $4.00 to regular dog walking prices.
    After 8 p.m., add $5.00 to regular dog walking prices.
    Second dog an additional $4.00 and $3.00 each additional dog.

 

Medication:  We give medication to your pet.  Ex: Pills, Liquids, Cremes, and Insulin Injections.

Are you in town visiting the windy city? Or maybe you’re visiting friends or family?  A Bark And A Meow can arrange mid-day and evening walks for your pet during your visit to Chicago.  $20.00 (Includes a 20 minute walk, feeding (if you choose), and fresh water.

 

We work holidays. An additional $1.00 applies to holiday and weekend dog walks
